Drugs/Crime
Crime
I used to support NYC’s Stop and Frisk but now I do not. I do support a fusion of https://www.politico.com/states/new-york/city-hall/story/2012/04/two-guys-from-yale-offer-an-alternative-to-stop-and-frisk-003498, Community Based policing, Red flag crime laws and Distributed sensing and virtual patrols, Artificial data and predictive policing fused with a center center right version of Stop and Frisk
This guy was already on lifetime parole and would have been under stricter supervision awaiting his trial, so putting him prison while awaiting his trial is overkill and unneeded
I support lower crime
I support more diligence
I am against a lot of consensual crime laws (but not most) and I feel Anarchists and other Left wing (and some moderate Right wingers) need to make that a bigger thing to fight against in the future
I am against the police state but I also keep an open mind to the progressive parts of the Blue Lives Matter movement. I also think that Cops tv show real life policing would make a unique private security force in an Anarcho Left Rothbardian society for government adjacent agencies
I believe we need to prevent white supremacist/racist infiltration in the law enforcement agencies but do so in a way that does not label our law enforcement agencies as white supremist or racist.
I am open minded to being open hearted about the police in the US being like the Japanese's National Police Agency in all ways since they are one of the best police in the world.
I feel outsourcing select issues away from the police to non police specialists should be something to consider at some point in the future (ie drug councilors stepping in for the police on drug related crimes, rape councilors stepping in for the police on rape reports where the perp isn't on scene, and domestic violence councilors stepping in for police on domestic violence cases etc).
But I'd only support this IF this outsourcing system included having the non police specialists/councilors alert the friends of the victims of non drug crimes to go along with the non police specialists/councilors to the crime scene to help the victims. This would allow for example the friends of the victims to kick the snot out of the domestic abusers or rapists with immunity from arrest to offset no police being on site or the police coming in whenever the outsourcing the police advocates say the police would come in
Drugs
I believe that synthetic Marijuana should be semi criminalized for rec use and medical use.
I am between mixed and morally (as in moral victory) against non synthetic Marijuana being legalized. I would be more than empathetic to non synthetic Marijuana being legalized only if non synthetic Marijuana is ONLY able to be done in private and not allowed to be done in theme parks, airports, concerts, malls, stores, conventions, schools, movie theaters, and similar public places
I do support non synthetic Marijuana inhaling and injecting stations being built throughout the US so non synthetic Marijuana users who need to do non synthetic Marijuana can legally do non synthetic Marijuana with trained medical professionals etc nearby (like in Vancouver BC, but for non synthetic Marijuana only). Basically sanctuaries for non synthetic Marijuana users
I support non synthetic Marijuana being decriminalized since so many people use it, it is impractical to try to stop it and put all of those people in prison
I am against Fentanyl, Crack , Crystal Meth, Purple Haze, LSD and Heroin being legalized or decriminalized
I can live with and maybe even pretty much tolerate Cocaine (non Crack) being as free ,legal and commonly available as it was in the US from the 1880s through the 1920s (like cocaine being sold legally in neighborhood drugstores/drug stores, saloons, mail-order vendors, and even in grocery stores). I can also live with and maybe even tolerate Cocaine being in cigs, cheroots, inhalants, crystals, Coca Cola and other soda pops just like back then
I am also ok with semi legalizing Greenies, Mushrooms, St John's Wart, and possibly Xanax/Valium for rec use only if it could be done practically and in a bipartisan way
Subconsciously I am somewhat open hearted to be decriminalizing Codeine
I believe MLB players etc should be able to do steroids and not be suspended for them. I am ok with steroids being legalized. If everyone has access to steroids, it isn't cheating (otherwise you'd have to say that Jerry Rice 'cheated' during his NFL career because he used a unique training regiment to get better)
We should also bring back the Just Say No anti drug campaign (but modernize it a bit). I do not want people to use Marijuana (synthetic or non synthetic), Fentanyl, Crack, Heroin, LSD for rec use ever (unless they can give me a really good reason why). I want people to be drug free (except for Cocaine, Concerta-Ritalin, Adderall, St John's Wart, and Valium-Xanax)
Users convicted of doing Fentanyl, Purple Haze, Crack, LSD and Heroin should go to prison but be transferred to house arrest and then a suspended sentence, easier and pretty much earlier so as a whole they would serve somewhat to slightly less time 'imprisoned' than they do usually for those crimes
I am fine with Fentanyl, LSD and Heroin users being sentenced to mandatory minimum sentences as long as they are sentenced to a choice between Wilderness Therapy and Periodic detention then after Wilderness Therapy/Periodic detention they are transferred to technological incarceration and then finally to parole
