International issues /religion etc

International issues (war/international relations/issues in other countries etc)

Military/Isolationism/Wars in general

I sympathize with left interventionalism and I am ok with some left interventionalism (especially in third world countries to help oppressed residents against their dictator governments in order to spread liberal values). This includes the US assembling and uniting lost US lands that were lost to the US (in s Left Wing way), Native American sovereignty, the First Nations using Anarcho Monarchism again like they used pre European imperialism etc

I am Anti Imperialism (including Anti American Imperialist/Anti Cultural Imperialist, see my Lifestyle blog for more).  Libertarianism is partly why I am Anti Imperialism. Imperialism is high stage Capitalism

I am against American Universalism

I am against Transnational Progressiveness

I am a non interventionalist

I support the Third World anti colonial movements of the 19th century and 20th century (including the Boxer Rebellion in China)

I want the US to make their territories and colonies Independent

I am anti war most of the time but I am anti war due to Lockean love of Liberty and being anti government (ie war is big gov). Basically I am anti war for the same reasons Mark Twain was anti war.

I am against military drafts

Since I am defacto anti war/not supportive of wars, I am by default against all countries on Earth going to war/me non supportive of all countries on Earth going to war . For example, after the outbreak of each war I check to see if an extremely rare and overwhelming case for me supporting that war being waged exists and if it doesn't then I keep my default anti war/not supportive position on that war.  It takes more for me to support a war than for me to say that I don't condemn a war. I haven't supported a war since I supported the Iraq War in early 2003 (before changing my mind in March 2003 and being against the Iraq War)

I am solidly pro Military and very pro Veteran despite being anti war

I am against the Open Skies Treaty

I also am tolerant of some guerilla like factions from our planet throughout history (or in the cases of some, like the alternate history guerrillas under alternate history Fidel Castro, who in those alternate histories aligned with the values of the modern day Forward US party

I support Strategic Autonomy

I am tolerant of some Democratic guerilla like factions from our planet throughout history

I was and I still am against the Patriot Act. It's tempting to be happy that liberals are using or want to use it against Conservatives but the Patriot Act is so harsh and inhumane I cannot support it under any known circumstance

I-P

I am an Anti N,azi. It is wrong to stereotype Jewish people or anyone of any group

My views on Zionism are complicated. I prefer Labor Zionism to Zionism. Labor Zionism is good as long as it doesn’t allow Zionism to mess things up

I am pretty sympathetic with specific non SJW and non boycott parts of the BDS, BDS politicians (like Rashida Tlaib, Ihlan Omar) and militantly moderate non zionism

I respect their views on Israel and Israelis even if I may not agree them on most or nearly more than most of those views. However as mentioned above , I do not like the SJWism, boycott, demonizing and most forms of the cancel culture tactics the BDS uses nor do I like them smearing Israelis as racists to name a few complaints I have with the BDS and their allies which turns me away from them.

I am pro Israel in that I love how unique the state of Israel is (being the homeland for Jews and reforming after 2000 years snd being an outlier in the Middle East, for better or for worse). It is a unique model for a country.

However, I can't really be that supportive of Zionism since I support Autonomism and Zionism's Nationalist nature goes against that. I am a Post Zionist who admires pre Post Zionism with awe, intrigue and respect

A lot of Israelis are descended from Palestinians so they are part Palestinian too so BDS and far left anti Israel people should keep that in mind when they criticize Israel.

I am mixed on the Palestinians in their feud with Israel. I am upset how Palestinians including Hamas are falsely stereotyped as ‘terrorists’, about how Benjamin Netanyahu and the pro Israel lobby dehumanized the Palestinians and how Israel didn’t find new age solutions to countering perceived threats from the Palestinians

I am not supportive of an exclusive alliance between the US and Israel since I am a non interventionist. I feel a Night’s Watchmen alliance between the US and Israel would be more ideal

Ideally , I favor something that is a fusion of a common three state solution idea (including this type of three state solution) and the current status quo in Israel-Palestine

One solution is to let Palestine be independent but have the same relationship with and to Israel that Taiwan has with and to China

I am fine with the US embassy being moved to Jerusalem

I am mixed on Israel's settlements in the West Bank.

The British Israelites groups of the late 19th century and early 20th century were eccentric but probably no more racist or anti semitic than the mainstream of Western culture at that time (but obviously wrong for having those bigoted attitudes). However, they were wrong about the Jews.  I hope that modern BDS and progressives don't make the British Israelites mistake of allowing legit criticism of Zionism to warp into bigoted and ignorant viewpoints that backfires

China-Russia

I fully condemn China for their 123 child policies, for being anti Christian, for getting involved in the 2020 unrest situations in the US, and the things below along with similar things

I am against China shoving Mao down peoples throats. Mao was a harsh dictator of the proc. I pity him but I am against his aggressive methods and some of his ultra left views. I don't want his statues removed or him censored but he should be viewed in China like Americans view Warren Harding, Andrew Johnson or Franklin Pierce. Mao was worse than Donald Trump, Enoch Powell, and Vladimir Putin but not by much

I want China to abolish forced labor and pay and incentivize all of the laborers who do jobs that forced laborers do now but pay those workers as fairly as workers in the US were paid in the last few decades of the 19th century and first decade of the 20th century (but with the same perks that workers in Norilsk Russia have, i.e travel etc) . In addition to China also paying those laborers in bonds, bitcoin and savings only payments to go along with that

I want high tariffs against China

I don't care enough about China to care about how they handled the pandemic.

China's social credit is bad mostly

I am alt neutral in the China-Hong Kong dispute but deep down, I'd like Hong Kong to be as free from China as they became free from the UK after UK rule long ago.

I prefer to apolitical on China-Taiwan but if I am forced to give an opinion. I believe Taiwan should be an unrecognized Independent state AND at the same time officially be to China what the First Nation tribes are to Canada with a bit of Anarcho Monarchism thrown into the mix for the latter.

If I sound too pro Josef Stalin, I will put this quote by Nikita Kruschrev here for balance “ It is here that Stalin showed in a whole series of cases his intolerance, his brutality, and his abuse of power ... he often chose the path of repression and physical annihilation, not only against actual enemies but also against individuals who had not committed any crimes against the party or the Soviet Government” . I am glad there was a ‘Soviet thaw’.

I like how the USSR with its foundation of fiscally responsible socialistic values (established by pre USSR Russia) expanded and spread its egalitarian and proto multipolar values which included its satellite states . This meme and thread reflects some of  my thoughts on Josef Stalin’s gulags

I am fine with the USSR creating satellite states

Whether the Holomodor was a genocide is irrelevant, three million people died. But here is an alternative viewpoint  (in image) of the Holomodor, just to show to prepare fellow leftists to debate people who don’t have acceptable views on the Holomodor that us non Neo Stalinists have

This is good insight into forced deportations under Joseph Stalin. Stalin was as anti migrant as Donald Trump and that is very bad , wrong and xenophobic

Under Joseph Stalin, the USSR was very pro science and it evolved from an agrarian society to a full industrialized and developed country under his rule.Lysenko was one of very few bad scientists in the USSR but even that wasn’t significant just overblown propaganda

I support the All Russian People’s Front even if it has Rodzaevskyist characteristics

The US and Europe should try to de escalate the Russia-Ukraine crisis instead of inflaming it

I believe Russia should be able to reclaim some of their past lands but through the type of Diplomacy that would please GWB.

I do not support Ukraine joining NATO. In fact I am anti NATO and I believe a case can be made that NATO should be abolished

The Jan 6 2021 protestors did not cause Russia to invade Ukraine and anyone who says otherwise is a fool

North Ossetia is part of Russia and I am glad that North Ossetia is part of Russia

I am lenient to passive lean ok with Great Russian Chauvinism

I will not condemn Belarus helping Russia, though I am not exactly crazy about it either

Russia invading Eastern Ukraine was a mere invasion and not as controversial as Russia's later full invasion of Ukraine

I oscillate between viewing and speaking about Russia and Russia's invasion of Ukraine exactly like how Anna Nebretko viewed and spoke about Russia in the last few years ,some of which caused her to be cancelled in 2022 as being 'Pro Russia' and how Father Coughlin viewed and spoke about Germany/NSDAP and their allies in the 1930s and early 1940s

I see whatever long term good comes to Russia out of their war with Ukraine as a silver lining for their invasion of Ukraine

My view on US getting involved in the Russia-Ukraine conflict is the same view that Copperheads had about the Union going to war with the Confederacy during the Civil War

I oscillate between wanting the People's Republic of Donetsk and Lugansk to stay part of Ukraine but be a Eastern block type satellite province of Russia like the Eastern Bloc countries during the Cold War were satellite states of the USSR, me wanting all pro Russian residents of the People's Republic of Donetsk and Lugansk to migrate to Russia while allowing Ukraine to take back those areas and me wanting the People's Republic of Donetsk and Lugansk to remain a part of Ukraine but as a Special Administrative Region while having the same relationship with Russia that Hezbollah has with Iran.

Ideally Russia should have applied the zoo hypothesis to Eastern Ukraine and not went into that area until it was defensible to do so

I view Azoz Battalion in between how John Wilkes Booth viewed John Brown (where he respected John Brown’s courage and passion despite being against him) and something that is in between Hero Antagonists and 1990s Anti Heroes even though I am not pro Ukraine

It is hypocritical and wrong to ban innocent Russians from entering other countries even if there are good reasons for doing so. Liberals righfully blew back over a Muslim travel ban by Donald Trump during the reign of ISIS yet they applaud this? UGH.  I believe banning innocent Russians from going to other countries because of Russia going to war with Ukraine is wrong, senseless and fascist and is just as bad as Donald Trump's Muslim travel ban in 2017. I am fully against the Russia flight ban by the US and Europe. It is draconian, fascist and evil. It's also a violation of freedom of movement. I hope all Russians permanelty boycott the US and all countries that banned flights to and from Russia.

Some Russians have been unfairly fired due to their place of origin by fascist Russophobes. Their firings are a violation of Employement Acts ,since they were singled out due to their place of origin. These Russians being unfairly fired is akin to McCarthysim or what the US did to Japanese Americans right after Pearl Harbor. Freedom of speech means telling people what they don't want to hear. We must end extreme cancel culture and modern day McCarthyism

I am against Anna Nebretko getting fired by the Metropolitian Opera House. There was no reason to fire her and Peter Gelb should be fired on the spot for what he did.

I am against the Bolshoi Ballet being fired. They did nothing wrong and they were unfairly fired for no reason

I supported Alexander Lukashenko during the 2020 Belarus protests. The anti Lukashenko protestors were counterproductive and maybe even wrong

I support the Eastern Orthodox Church as the state religion of Russia but I really prefer a Eastern Orthodox Deism as Russia’s state religion

Muslim

Islam is no better or worse than any other religion. It has good and bad like any other religion. Islam shares an Abrahamaniac link to Judeo Christianity and is a peaceful religion. Not all criticism of Islam is Islamaphobic and some criticism of Islam is genuine and constructive.  Some rarer sects of Islam do treat women and LGBTQ people unfairly which is wrong.  People should avoid criticizing things in Islam that they don't understand because if they don't avoid doing that, they'll look ignorant.

Sharia law in its more extreme forms is sexist, anti LGBTQ+, hostile to Christianity, extremely anti zionist or even anti semetic and thus should be condemned.

We need to counter those more extreme forms of Sharia law wherever it exists and prevent extremists of any religion, including Islam to implement such harsh anti democratic systems into our societies (such as those more extreme parts of Sharia law) . The more extreme parts of Sharia law go against the core beliefs of our society. By doing so, we will be fighting for the rights of all people.

I believe Christians need to build a coalition of faith with Muslims like how Rick Warren did a decade and a half ago with the Muslim community

I am tolerant of Shamsul Islam’s views on Islam

I am generally ok with some of Quillam’s criticism of Islam

Muslims are oppressed by Islamaphobes and they need us non Muslim people to help them since some to just short of many of them are too shy or lack enough agency to do so themselves

I feel that the Labour Party UK and Democrat party should listen more to the Muslim community there and address the reasonable concerns they have, or at the very least show those Muslims that their concerns are being considered and are important.

I believe people should criticize Islam and every religion since no religion should be off limits but they should do so in a constructive, genuine way that is free of Islamaphobia.

Linda Sarsour has good views on Islam and Feminism

I am against the Netherlands being Islamaphobic and racist against Arabs and I condemn the Netherlands for it

I am against France and other countries banning Muslim women from wearing Burkinis, the Hijab and Burqas. I fully support Muslim women or any person wearing Burkinis, Hijabs and Burqas. Those bans are Islamaphobic and violate human rights.  Those countries are appeasing far right Islamphobes by these bans but are hurting the Muslim community at the same time. Instead those countries should try to make laws to help Muslims not hurt them.  Muslim women need to get the Burqa and Burkini to be as 'accepted' as the Hijab if they are to make any progress against Islamophobia

I was and still am against Donald Trump's Muslim travel ban

It was wrong for DJT to criticize Khizr Khan's 2016 DNC . I am fine with Ghazela Khan's views on roles in marriage and marriage (that she mentioned on Morning Joe). That's their culture and we should respect it

I have no issues with countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar etc requiring people to dress modestly or conservatively in certain religious places.

I have defended Muslims against defamation since 9/11. I am appalled that Muslims were and are stereotyped and labeled as terrorists since 9/11 (especially right after 9/11 and in the age of ISIS). The vast vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists and only a fringe part of some sects of Islam are terrorists. I do think that Muslims should try to counter Islamophobia in a peaceful, educational and edifying sort of way instead of lowering themselves to the Islamophobes level.

I don't believe the October 31 2018 truck attack in NYC or the Swedish truck attack in 2017 were terrorist attacks or Islamic extremism. I am not even that sure that the 2016 Nice lorre attacks were terrorism or Islamic extremism (or at least I am not that sure if terrorism/Islamic extremism was the primary motive of the attacks). Saying that every time a Muslim commits mass murder is terrorism or Islamic extremism is bigoted, ignorant, naive and offensive.  However, on the flip side, a few attacks by Muslims that are not labele as terrorism/Islamic extremism are technically terrorism or Islamic extremism (the Fort Hood shooting for example). But there are obviously way more times Muslims committing crimes are falsely accused of terrorism/Islamic extremism than there are times when Muslims do commit terrorist or Islamic extremist attacks and said attacks are not labeled as terrorism/Islamic extremism.  A lot of Muslims who were defamed as Islamic extremists were really atheists pretending to be Muslim.

Christians who are killed in the Middle East by ISIS should always be labeled as Christians instead of worshippers by the media and politicians.

ISIS and Al Qaeda are TERRORISTS not Militants

Iran/Syria/Libya/Iraq/Afghanistan

I do not condemn Donald Trump's killing of Qasem Soleimani but I think it was a sad, mean spirited, aggressive necon move that should not be repeated in the future unless he or anyone gets permission from the UN and or congress to do so

I was and still am against the US going to war with Syria. Syria was no angel but the US should have left them alone. Let the people in Syria deal with that.  No more endless wars or American neocon nonsense.

I was and still am against the Libya War (the one under Barack Obama),

I was and still am against the Iraq War (I was begrudingly for it until late March 2003 then I became permanently against it)

At worst, instead of going to Iraq, the US should have increased their troops and presence in Afghanistan, while closely monitoring the situations in Iraq

One idea would be for the US to not go to war with Iraq, and remain neutral in Iraqi affairs with the Kurds, Iran, Israel etc while at the same time, the US increases arms sells to any country who wants them (including Iraq), hoping that Iraq's enemies in the Middle East buy those weapons more than or instead of Iraq.

Basically what the US did in the early part of World War I when they were neutral in that war.

Just like with World War I when the Germans attacked the US forcing the US to go to war with Germany, if and when Iraq attacked the US for selling weapons to the wrong country or faction (ie Israel or the Kurds), then just like with World War I, the US would then go to war with Iraq, but as an associated ally of the anti Iraqi forces like the US was to the allies in World War I. So if the Iraq War was started like I wrote above and went down like that, I would have supported the Iraq War from start to finish

Another bad thing about the Iraq War was getting rid of their Saddam. Saddam sort of protected Christians in Iraq. With him disposed, it allowed ISIS to target Christians a decade later

I support the Iraq War troop surge by George W Bush in 2007. It was a smart strategy and helped turn the war around for us

Chris Kyle was a war hero and his movie is not offensive. It's only offensive to anti war people or people who are misled by ignorant things in the media about it. People have a right to be offended because Chris Kyle fought for their right to be offended by him and his movie. But the patriotism is a bit over the top

If those sanctions against Iraq in the 1990s caused 9/11 I am retroactively against those sanctions. Besides Dick Cheney said those sanctions didn't work so the UN was wrong to do those sanctions.

I think that the Gulf War was neo con warmongering but it was more justifiable than the Iraq War, Libyan War, Syria War etc   It was probably one of the least offensive wars in recent or modern times involving the US

I am against the way that Joe Biden handled Afghanistan .Biden botched the withdrawal of our troops in Afghanistan. I echo many MSM sources on this

I supported the Afghanistan War but we should have pulled out of Afghanistan earlier than later.

Europe

I support keeping the Queen Victoria statues up

I support the Basque Independent movement

I support the Catalonian Independent movement since I see that has a Christian struggle against the state (and because I see this as the Left Wing version of the Falange 1930s movement , I am fine with Spain being anti F Franco and anti Falange, but I get PO'd when they falsely lump the Catalonian Independence movement in with that, hence why I support the Catalonian Independent movement

I am radically centrist to lean mixed on the Scottish Independent movement

Asia

I do not condemn the 2021 coup de tat in Myanmar ,its none of my business

I have no opinion on how Donald Trump handled North Korea . I will Trump got more than some praise by the MSM for it (and most MSM were mixed to positive about how he handled North Korea)

I am against the Vietnam War (though if I was alive back then I probably would have supported it through 1966) and I think it was cool how Americans like Jane Fonda sympathized with Northern Vietnam. However I am glad that Jane Fonda apologized for her treason. I am also against the hate the veterans got and aspects of the anti war movement which spiraled out of hand

I am fifth political position on the US-Philippines war

Americas

I supported Cliven Bundy in his feud with the Federal Government (until he made his bigoted comments then I obviously dropped my support for him)

The government has no right to intrude on Bundy's property over petty, punitive laws. Bundy is an inspiration for how he fought against those tyrant fascists.

I have no issues with the Second Vermont Republic. Vermont has been negatively effected by a lot of Republicans moving there in droves, and due to some anti Bernie type policies hurting their states so them seceding would stop those negative things from happening

I am not against the sovereignty movement of Hawaii .I am sort of mixed on that

I retroactively support Reconstruction in the Southern US in the 19th century. The northerners made the South freer, more antiracist, and better than it was before.  Northerners helped blacks get educated, voting rights and even elected to offices.

I am glad that Canada was a haven for oppressed people, including escaped slaves and gave them all equal rights in the 19th century. mid to mid late 19th century Canada is what the Old South should have been

I am glad that the Young Americans Nationalist group in the 19th century pushed the Union to go to war with the South during the Civil War because that helped free and give equal rights to blacks and abolish slavery

The Old South using slavery was wrong, not just for moral reasons (which is the main reason its wrong for every society) but also for economic reasons as they instead should have embraced a hypothetical socio-fiscal system that can be labeled interchangeably as State Capitalism, Bureaucratic Collectivism, State Socialism and a unique Mode of Production. along with the Industrial revolution decades earlier as opposed to using slavery and Agrarianism.

Since the Old South and its slavery-Agrarianism model was far inferior from a economic (and moral) standpoint to non slavery/paid labor- hypothetical socio-fiscal system that can be labeled interchangeably as State Capitalism, Bureaucratic Collectivism, State Socialism and a unique Mode of Production. and the Industrial Revolution model, the Old South should have ditched slavery (giving equal rights to everyone), rebuilt their infrastructure to support these changes and used machines for some jobs as the North was doing at that time. If the Old South had done this in the 1830s, 1840s, 1850s or even late as the early 1860s, they would have been equal to if not better than the Northern US in terms of economy, culture, quality of life and infrastructure. Moreover, there would have been no Civil War and thus no destruction of their region via war or reconstruction corruption and the South would be far better today than it is now.

I support the US in the US-Spanish war

I support the United States breaking free of British rule in the 1770s, and fighting for and gaining their independence from Britain. I support the formation of the United States and everything the United States was founded on. The United States was founded on FREEDOM not white supremacy or slavery. Don’t let woke revisionists twist our nation’s founding. I support the United States in the Revolutionary War

Xtian

Sodom and Gomorrah were bad cities due to the fact they were bad enough to be nuked by God. Sodom and Gomorrah started the trend of societies rejecting natural and universal values (including values like commitment, non vanity, humbleness, love over lust, equality, diversity, hierarchylessness, classlessness,  compassion, wisdom, family, drug free living, non LGBTQ Chauvinism [them being gay and doing gay things was fine but it was not fine they LGBTQ Chauvinists]) that continues to this day in some places.

The US and other countries are not Theocracies and thus the government should not enforce laws based on the beliefs of religious people. Theocracies only work in the afterlife or in the bible, not on Earth (give to Caesar what is Caesar etc).

It certainly wouldn't hurt for more people to at least try to live by the Two Commandments of Mark 12:28-31 of the KJV

Jesus was white, Mary was white  and we should not get rid any images, statues, paintings, art etc of a white Jesus, a white Mary or white biblical people.

High ranking Jewish authorities (ie Sadducees and Pharisees)  conspired with non Jewish leaders to put Jesus to death. They were jealous of Jesus, and saw him as a threat (Jesus constantly called out the Sadducees and Pharisees for their hypocrisy and evil ways during his ministry).

An unruly mob of people (the vast vast majority of whom were Jewish), in Jerusalem called out for the Romans to crucify and kill Jesus. In Matthew 27:25, Pontius Pilate washed his hands of Jesus's blood and those mob of people (the vast vast majority of whom were Jewish) who had called for Jesus to be crucified, told Pilate "His blood be on us and our children! In the Gospel of John (John 5:18, John 7:1, John 8:37) John shows that Jews wanting to kill Jesus throughout his ministry . Paul, who was himself a Jew, wrote similar things about Jews relationship with Jesus. Paul persuected Christians when he was still Jewish (1 Thess 2:14-15, Phil 3:5-6)

It doesn't matter because Jesus's death was predestined by God as a plan to save humanity. If Jesus wasn't crucified and killed, no Christians would be saved so the Jewish peoples' role in Jesus death saved humanity, because if he didn't get crucifed and killed, none of us would be able to have eternal life. Jesus gave his life willingly as a sacrifice for sin (Mark 10:45, John 18:11). It was Christians' sins that was the most directly responsible for the death of Jesus (Romans 5:8-9, 1 Timothy 1:15) Jesus rose from the dead 3 days later anyway and rose to heaven on his own free will.

I want the Tridentine Mass (1962 Roman Missal) to continue to be celebrated just like it has been celebrated for the last 15 years. I support Pope Benedict's Summorum Pontificum.

I used to go the Knights of Columbus as a child and teenager a few times a year.  The Knights of Columbus is a great organization.

I support Religious Heredoxy

According to the bible, all unrepented sinners (i.e those of the foul , jinxed spirit who are spiritually descended from Cain) will not enter the afterlife when they die (but maybe eventually they will). Only sinners who are saved and have become pure through the cleansing of the spirit and who are spiritually descended from what could have been Adam and Eve if they never sinned will enter the afterlife after they die  . So Christians explorers or seekers should heed this message if they are serious about their faith.

Many Christians say the bible teaches Christians who are saved should live a spiritual warrior life and have victory over demons

My former church (Celebrate Church) has a ministry run by Matthew (former Sea World trainer) that compassionately walks side by side with any person whose life has been effected by sin or addiction. My former church's group has its members share their stories of their victories over sin and addiction. This group uses biblical based wisdom and truth to show God's plan for us. They promote freedom that happens when people surrender their lives to Christ. They bridge the unrepentant sinner community and addict community with the church, while offering hope rather than condemnation.   To disengage from the wars over sins and addiction to instead focus on reaching people in the unrepentant sinner community and the addiction community one person at a time.

I sometimes do blame the Church for sometimes being an immoral inversion. For example, some sects of Christianity and Catholicism are an unhealed wound for the West due to their heretical anti liberal views. Some of these sects of Christianity and Catholicism forbid a liberal state which is a problem.
